Arches National Park 2017

After 5.5 years, McKay and I were finally able to return to the place we met, Arches National Park! Vanessa and Cam joined us for this portion of the trip.

We caught wind that several areas were closed because of rain, flooding, and construction all combined, so we weren't sure if we'd be able to see much. Well, our timing could not have been more excellent! We got to see everything we wanted to because we happened to visit during the small window of rain-free days.
We made sure to do Delicate Arch first, because we didn't want any unexpected weather to roll in and miss our chance. Rain was forecasted for the days before and after we were at Arches, so we were lucky to have clouds overhead 75% of the time.

This picture cracks me up. James though McKay needed to smile wider, I guess!
