Luke Days Aviation Show

We were so lucky to be here during Luke Days! The event is free to the public, and this was the year the Blue Angels were coming! Just as predicted, James was IN LOVE. He's always pointing out planes in the sky and trying to find them, so he was in shock to see so many planes everywhere! We invited our good friends the Erhards to come with us. James and Addie adore each other, and they're only a week apart! So it's super fun to have them together.

James usually keeps hats and sunglasses on no problem, but when we tried putting the noise cancelling headphones on him, he was not having it! Luckily the planes weren't nearly as loud as we expected.

We got there early enough to see some of the other aviation shows going on. It was fun watching double winged planes, explosion demos, parachuters and more!

The Blue Angels were SO COOL! What an awesome opportunity we had to watch them for free. They did a lot of cool stunts and it's just amazing to see them flying so close at such high speeds.
 
The kids were so tired by the time we left. And here's a picture just so you can see how dirty James' face was!!
