Ensign Peak and Temple Square

McKay worked an early shift and was off at 3. The weather was SO NICE and we just couldn't stay inside! We wanted to watch the sunset from Ensign Peak, but it was early, so we spent some time on Temple Square before heading up. We got stopped so many times because people can't stop swooning over James. I'm not even joking! It's hilarious! We walked past a pack of sister missionaries at one point and they just about died haha. It's not even women who stop us most often, though, it's grandpas! James seems to get SO much attention wherever we go. I mean, can you blame him? He's dang adorable!!

We got him sunglasses and they are SO. DANG. CUTE. He does a pretty good job of keeping them on, too.
McKay snapped this funny picture of James and the temple. We laid him down on the grass and he rolled over and started crawling towards the temple. Note the drool...

The hike (walk?) up to the viewpoint was beautiful. It's short, only about two miles round trip. We stopped several times to snap some photos and catch our breaths. That's a lie. I had to catch MY breath hahaha it was sooooooo hot outside! I'm going to die in Arizona. Meanwhile McKay is running up and down the trail. haha.

James LOVES being on McKay's shoulders. As soon as McKay starts to job around he throws his hands into the air and squeals. I don't think I'll ever get tired of snapping photos of them running around together.

The view from the top was beautiful! There was some wind which felt sooooo good cause it was around 85* - 90* outside. I'm so glad that McKay and I have found hobbies that we enjoy together. :)
