McKay received the opportunity to interview for the PA Program at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. We're still waiting to hear back, so keep us in your prayers! This would be a wonderful blessing to our soon-to-be family of three.
We were beyond happy that I was able to go with McKay to Georgia and check out the area we *might* be moving to. Basically: WE LOVE IT THERE. Granted, we were only there for 2 days, but the weather was beautiful, we love the temperature, the people were so polite (Southern Hospitality is actually a thing!), cost of living is very reasonable, and we especially loved that there were trees everywhere.
The only tourist-ish thing we did while there was visit Stone Mountain. We probably should've looked up some info on it before visiting, we assumed it was a nature park we could walk around and such. Technically, we were right. It DOES have a ton of nature and trails to enjoy. What we weren't expecting were all the attractions! We only rode the lift up to the top of the mountain, but there are so many other things to do, a historic square area, laser maze, boat rides, mini golf, farm yard with a petting zoo, rope bridges, rail road, rock climbing walls, and much more.
We found a penny press! Yay!
We had quite the laugh playing around with some panoramic photos of the view from the top!
6 months pregnant and feeling great!
While McKay was in his interview, I was able to visit the Atlanta LDS Temple. I loved it! What a beautiful place.
Hmmmm... I wonder who the pregnant one is....
McKay getting pointers from Jesse Mercer for his interview.
McKay finished interviewing an hour and a half after we had planned, so we hustled it to the airport!! We were scared we were going to miss our flight back home, but luckily we got to (RAN to... my poor pregnant self haha) the gate just as they were boarding. Hallelujah!
