What a BEAUTIFUL place! Trillium was easy to get to and fun to explore. We drove right up to the lake and spent an hour making the 2 mile hike around it's perimeter. We expected to hike on some snow, but we were surprised when nearly 1/3 of the trail was covered with snow! We came across beaver homes, many ducks, a Steller's Jay, and some squirrels. If you're looking for something simple and breathtakingly beautiful, I recommend Trillium Lake!
