Triple Falls Loop
If Kayla doesn't fall and get hurt, did we even go on a hike? (that should be our motto).
We headed up the gorge last week and ventured the 5(ish) miles of Triple Falls Loop! While on this hike you come across four waterfalls and one cliff that gives you a beautiful view of the gorge. Despite all that, the best part of our hike was the 10 minutes we spent giggling over a little tree frog we found. We also came across a dozen or so of those fuzzy black and orange caterpillars. And yes, McKay named each and every one.
Horsetail falls
Ponytail Falls
Middle Oneonta Falls. Normally all the rocks are covered, so I was surprised to see just how little water was flowing by. This year sure has been a dry one for Oregon.
Triple Falls. The lighting was awful for the photos we took here, so I found a nicer one that does the place justice.
And here's the rest of our goofy photos ft. the frog and a caterpillar!
