See that "little" rock sticking out of the river in the distance? That's where we went today!
We ventured over to the Washington Side today and hiked Beacon Rock! This was a quick hike, just under 2 miles round trip, but it was fairly steep! According to our Fitbits, we climbed and down around 66 flights of stairs. All that in less than 40 minutes, whew!
We barely beat the rain. Only minutes after getting back to the car it started to pour! Hiking season is almost over now, but I am hoping we can get another two or three hikes in before it gets too cold. Preferably ones where we'll get to enjoy the beautiful fall colors :)
