Salsa Night!

It's been about 2 months since we started our little garden, and yesterday we we able to harvest our very first tomato! It's so red and juicy, I mean, look at it! Doesn't that look good?? Also, do you see that wedding ring? Doesn't that look good, too? Yeah, I thought so.

Confession: I actually am not much of a tomato fan, I love them in and on everything, just not by themselves. Which is fine, considering the fact that tonight has been dubbed (as of right now) "salsa night"! McKay and I are going to chop up the little beauty and enjoy some home made Pico de Gallo! Our two tomato plants are FULL of green tomatoes, so I guess we've been doing a pretty good job at this whole gardening thing. I have a feeling that there will be more Salsa Nights to come!

In terms of the rest of the garden, things are looking good. Our green beans and jalapeno plant have flowered, and the corn stalks are getting taller every day, so hopefully we'll be seeing some more veggies soon!
